4

hello!
So, I havent written anything on here in like forever, so I have decided to recreate one of my favourite blogs from my myspace days....I find that it is still applicable to life!
It is the holidays, and i have nothing to do. Boredom has become my worst enemy, but also the thing I seem to do most! In conclusion to this problem, I have decided...I wish I was 4 again!!

If I was 4, I would never be bored. The holidays would have gone on forever, or seemed to, but I would not have even one second of boredom. Instead, I would have maybe got one of my toys out. Now, if i was 4, my toys would include a few unclothed barbies and action men, because I have lost all of their clothes. Or perhaps I preferred them in their natural state. Who knows; the 4 year old mind is a strange place. Or I would play with my teddies, perhaps making them be my pets, or maybe playing vets. I was never one for dolls, but I would maybe play with my fisher price kitchen and cook my mum an imaginary omlette. Or some spaghetti. Or chips and ice cream.Or what about my duplo! With my duplo, I could create an entire house! Or a zoo! Or even a doctors surgery. That would fill the time. If it was a nice day, I could go out into the garden and play in my fisher price red and yellow car. There was always a place i needed to go in my car.

but even if I was bored of all my toys....

There was always so much else I could do!

like-

going around all the bedrooms in the house, stealing every blanket, duvet and pillow, and taking them under the table. I would then arrange them into a secret den, and pretend I was camping, or living in the jungle, or in a cave.
or I would go and find a large box, and pretend I was a sailor in a boat, or a driver, or something else involving box like object.
or go into the garden and catch some bugs, and pretend I was a bug doctor.
Or paint the windows with mums moisturiser.
or go into the garden in my underwear and pick flowers for my bedroom, then take them upstairs. they were dandelions, and I left them in my underwear drawer.
Or go into the kitchen and play the drums on mums saucepans.
Or play mums and dads with my little sister.
Or play cowboys and horses with my sister. I am the cowboy, obviously.
Or play make up, in mums bedroom, on her lovely cream carpet.
Or play hide and seek with daddy.
Or go for a ride on my pink bike with streamers and stabilisers.
Or decorate the walls with abstract crayon drawings.
Or something else using my extensive imagination.

But I would never ever be bored.

So if you will excuse me, I am off to find my mums moisturiser, and after that, find a large box.
Ahoy captain.....

hmmmm.....

ok.

not quite sure what to write here, but i am being pestered by my very beautiful and very persuasive friend, lisa harries.
this is her, she is the one who is not me!

lisa is very beautiful, but she is also an exceptional blogger, very much better than i am.
so i will begin.

now, i just was thinking. i was looking at my cat. she is at this precise moment sprawled across my bed, and she is in the same position that she was in 3 hours ago. this is her in a more awake state
i just had to poke her to see if she is alive (dont worry ladies and gentlemen, she is very much still breathing). now i love my cat very much, and i like to think of myself as her human mummy. not her actual mummy, because then i would be a cat. This sentance very nicely leads me on to my topic of the day.

what if i was a cat?!?!

now cats, as we all know are not the most exciting of creatures. i love them very much, but all they seem to do is sleep!
that seems like a bit of a boring existence. however, i would quite like to sleep for long periods of time. it would be quite refreshing.

in the periods that i was awake, about 4 hours everyday, i would probably amuse myself with lots of exciting pasttimes. these would include - 1. chasing invisible things around the house. I have always wondered why cats do this. surely they know that there is nothing there! but it still seems to amuse my cats for hours!
2. lying in wait for my owners round corners, or in dark alcoves, then pouncing on them, like a tiger would. because all cats aspire to be tigers in secret. this is my theory anyway.
3. eating. this needs no explanation.
4. finding comfy spots of floor or earth for my next bout of sleeping. I personally would love to go to sleep in strange places, with no trouble in dropping off. I admire cats for this.
5. cleaning myself with my tongue. it has to be said, this is a lot less hassle than having a shower.
6. playing crouching tiger hidden dragon in long grass. without small children looking at me strangely.
7 catching small creatures and playing with them, before eating them for dinner. You just dont see vegetarian cats, ever.
8. meoiwing at my owner for no particular reason, other than to get their attention.
9. making friends with the other cats in my block. because its best to keep the competition friendly, because if you have a cat ike incident, like losing all your teeth, then you need to have minions to hunt for you, break the food up with their teeth, then feed it to you with their little paws!
10. and finally cuddling with my owner because they are theones that give me food and shelter, and let me play with them.

in the course of writing this blog, my cat has arisen from her slumber and came to carry out number 10.

i swear she knew that i was writing about her.

cats are very psychic.

an introduction to me

hello, i am courtney. i am the un-blue one in that picture. my good friend lisa harries told me to get a blog, maybe because she has seen a sample of my blogging skills on my myspace page, and was amazed.
or, more likely, she wants to get as many people on here as possible.
now, on myspace, i am an occasional blogger, as in i blog every few months or so. my blogs are the inner workings of my mind (a sample title being "i wish i was four again" ) if you wish to check them out go to http://www.myspace.com/courtney_dudette.
i will try and do the same thing on here, maybe a bit more frequently.

so thats the introduction part over.

my mind is right now thinking how the mento/coke reaction works. there must be some sort of reaction going on there right? but. if a reaction goes on, surely it would do the same with other fizzy drinks. so why dont others try it? is it because coke is such a big global corporation? but if that is the case why dont they use sprite??? somewhere some how someone ws biased towards coke, and it stuck. but coke is not the nicest drink, so why would you want to boost it with a minty sweet? i mean its a yucky drink really. i dont like coke, incase you cant tell.

also, you know that video where they do the coke/mento reaction. how on earth did they time that one??? i mean, it must have taken so much planning! but, i suppose you have to be quite sad to think it up in the first placereally.

one thing i have learnt today, is to never snort sherbert. it hurts very much.
that is the only thing of use that i learnt, even though i have been at school for the entire day.
ah the education system.

ok, so that would be my first blog.

over and out
